Dear ____,
Thank you for opening an account with our company. As one of the leaders in this industry, we can assure you that our products and our services will not disappoint you.
I would like to take this opportunity to briefly set forth our terms and conditions for maintaining an open account with our firm. Invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt, with a 2% discount available if your payment is remitted within ten (10) days of receipt. We consider this incentive an excellent opportunity for our customers to increase their profit margin, and therefore encourage the use of this discount privilege whenever possible. We do, however, require that our invoices be paid within the specified time, for our customers to take advantage of this 2% discount.
At various times throughout the year we may offer our customers additional discounts on our products. In determining your cost in this case, you must apply your special discount first, and then calculate your 2% discount for early payment.
As the credit manager, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your new account. I can be reached at the above number. Welcome to our family of customers. End of Letter

After reading the Family Advocate position listing available with Fox Valley Autism Center on Wisconsin JobNet, I have become quite interested in this position. A senior at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, I will complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development in May 20XX.  The prospect of joining your staff in this role would be a welcome and exciting challenge.

Hi my friend,
I just read this topic and i think it is a great but difficult one.
I tried to write and I hope that you can check it for me.

The twentieth century has brought with itself many new advances. With these advances, the human lives have changed dramatically. One of the most successful inventions is Internet. With it widespread use, its impact is tremendous. Some people even think that it has advanced knowledge beyond the younger generation’s maturity. As far as I am concerned, I totally agree with this statement.

One of the most important advantages of Internet is that it can get us informed timely. There is always a lot of news on Internet broadcasting twenty four hours per day and updating timely. You can know everything happening around you that you really concern such as headlines, financial news, the sports points, and even the weather report. You can easily enhance your knowledge about all aspects all lives, especially the field of your future job.

In addition, the Internet gives us the convenience of getting nearly almost all useful materials for my study. In the past, when my parents still had to write the lessons from the blackboard. If they wanted to find more information about one subject, they had to go to the library and read all pages of books, which had the same topic with the problems they were looking for. Now, we just need to do some simple tasks: type some letters and click the search engine to get them. We can do them in the morning when you just get up or while having breakfast. Nothing could be more convenient than the Internet in doing research work like this. The more widen knowledge you gain, the deeper your visions are to analyze and deal with the matters.

Furthermore, it helps you to keep in touch with your friends, your families and your relatives when you are away from home. For instance, when you go studying abroad, you can easily contact your parents for not being homesick, talking with friends to exchange ideas and chatting with a small just a small amount of money. Without a doubt, Internet has connected people around the world.

Nevertheless, a small amount of young generation nowadays start using Internet for negative purposes. When they are addicted to game online, they will play as long as they can if we do not stop them. Sometimes, they play nonstop and forget eating and drinking. Some were death just because of playing games too much. In addition, a group of younger children often uses Internet for black websites just because they are curious about that. Some are seriously obsessed after watching these websites. As a consequence, they commit crimes due to the fact that they just imitate to what they have seen on these ones.

To sum up, nothing is perfect and everything has both advantages and disadvantages. The only problem here is what we watch on Internet, how long we watch and the most important one is how we respond to what we have seen. If we can eliminate or reduce the negative effects of Internet, it can help us, younger generation, to be more mature.

Thanks Demon. You did well, but what I really wanted to question was just how much the Internet WILL affect the younger generation.

Without giving suggestions out I was hoping to hear about the longer term effects that the Internet will have on them in say, the next twenty years.

This gives me great cause for concern.

Kitos.

                   Mr. SokSan           – Market Executive

Call to order:
The meeting was called to order at 9:00am in the Meeting Room at NPC.

Committee Report(s):

CEO was a Chairperson and provided an excellent discussion on purpose of finding the good points and weak points of each showroom and then she tried to contribute the solutions to all attendees.

The main purpose stated by CEO to the essence of the meeting to be held as from functioning by CEO starting from Wednesday, 06 January, 2010.

First of all, CEO greeted all the participants and asked each supervisor to present about the customer situation of each showroom and to talk about the difficulties faced in year 2009 which started by the following person.
Mr. Huon Savan: NSV Supervisor

1.   Briefly, he began talking about the situation of customers walking in his showroom. He said Most of the customers are Chinese people considered 60%; 30% are nation and 10% are foreign customers. Nowadays, he said there are a few clients visited his showroom depending on days it means that from Monday to Friday there are less customers both nation and foreign. But on Saturday and Sunday there are a few visitors and buyers, especially Chinese coming in group.
2.    Talking about difficulty, he said there are obstacles which have not yet been solved. First is the customer traffic. As seen clearly, it is very difficult for customers when they want to purchase a phone there because of the street. Another thing is motor and car parking. As known the space in front of showroom is too small to park. Moreover, he said some people don’t know his showroom yet because it is located in quite not good position so they do not come to purchase a phone even some living near his showroom.

CEO Comment: CEO said we should promote NSV via internet website and also we need marketing department to assist in putting the signs along the street in the hope of informing people that there is a Nokia showroom near here. More importantly, CEO said as to get people know NSV more she is planning to make some advertising events there.

Mr. Sokunthea: NSS Supervisor

1.   He said in general, Most of the customers are foreigners approximately 70% while local are 30%. Normally, there are a lot of visitors on Saturday and Sunday.
CEO: Regarding to the shortage of local customers, CEO asked: Did you make an event to inform people that you change the location to Lucky mall supermarket?
Mr. Sokunthea said yes of course.
Additionally, Mr. Makara (Acting Retail Sales Manager) replied we did it. We made opening ceremony and asked Tuk Tuk to drive along the street to make people aware of the change.

CEO Comment: It is quite good if there are 70% are foreign customers but we should understand more about the segmentation of customers.

2.   In addition, he said appearance of his showroom was quite good because it was situated in Lucky mall supermarket where people usually go shopping. Meanwhile there were also a few problems. One of them was parking. He added that every customer has to pay 500 riel to 1000 riel for parking space. With this, some customers felt inconvenient to visit or come to buy a phone in his showroom. Last but not least, we also had a matter with Chinese language Installation. The convenience of this has been causing a lot. Customers always complaint because they had to wait for long and sometimes the installation was not successful or even made customers’ phones die.

CEO Comment: We should ask Nokia care Center to update their Chinese installation software frequently. More importantly, Chinese language should be upgraded from warehouse.

Mr. Chan soma: NPD Supervisor

1.   First of all he thanked to management and top management for changing the look of NPD showroom. Then he began talking the condition of customers flowing to his showroom. He said most of the customers were local people about 60% to 70% and another 30% were Chinese, Philippines and foreigner. In addition, it was quite similar to other showrooms that more customers were normally on Saturday and Sunday.
2.   Returning to the difficulty he faced; he said ongoing matter is our Nokia phone with made by China. He said we tried to explain them about this but some customers felt not satisfied with though they still bought our phones. Another problem was also Chinese language that was not available in some phones. It took long time to upload so customers felt impatient.
CEO Comment: After some changes were offered to NPD, I can see slight improvement. As I seen there were a lot of customers visiting NPD even in the morning. Anyway CEO recommended that you had to tell cleaner to clean showroom more frequent because CEO said the appearance of showroom is very important for customers and Nokia brand.
Mr. Sovannarith NSM Supervisor (Stand by for NHO)
1.   For NHO he said there is a difficult with customers’ traffic because they found difficult to access to our showroom when they wanted to buy from our store. Related to this, there was also a police post next to waiting to fine people. Therefore some customers would be afraid of fining so they might not come to purchase here instead they probably go anywhere.

CEO Comment: I understand the difficulty and I would try to find solution for this.
Ms. Sovary: NPC Supervisor
1.   As normal she said there are many customers who came and bought our products especially on weekends. Most of them are local, Chinese and foreigners even though there was a drop of our sale if we compared sale volume in 2008 and 2009.
CEO: CEO asked: How many percentages of sales drops for NPC comparing 2008 and 2009?

Mr. Setha (Retails Director) handled the question. He said there was approximately 20% decline in sale volume if we compared to last year.
2.   Then Ms. Sovary began describing about the obstacles she encountered in 2009. First of all is stock problem. She said that sometimes phones in NPC were not available for customers need so some customers came back home with nothing.
Mr. Setha: he said before we actually had a problem with this but now this was solved. In addition, he said now we had our own phones stock that made us easy to make phone order.
3.   The other problem is accessory. Every day there were many customers asking to buy some accessories such as chargers, batteries and so on. When we replied we did not have accessories, almost customers complained us with this.

CEO Comment: To avoid any complaints, we shouldn’t say “No or we don’t have” to customers when they asked for it. Instead, you could tell them that the original accessories prices are expensive. Additionally CEO asked Mr. Shiang to quote the price of accessories to be shown for the customers. CEO believed that when they saw the price, they would not buy it.
Ms. Chenda: NSSV Cashier
1.   She began talking about her customers in NSSV. She said there were more foreign clients than local customers visiting her showroom. Most of them came more on Saturday and Sunday.
2.   Anyway she said the price of each phone was ok because normally when customers walked in, 100% they bought our products. But the problem was that people seem not to know our showroom as the place for selling Nokia phone but for phone display only. Therefore, when they needed to phones, they would go somewhere else. Moreover, Accessory was also ongoing issue that we faced. She said some people asked for accessories, but we did not have for them so they felt unhappy with us as result, some of them did not come to our showroom again.
Mr. Setha, Retail Director, said: Regarding to the problem that people seem not to know our showroom, he began to ask marketing department for help. He requested Mr. Warren to make promotion event there.
CEO Comment: In response to this, CEO asked Mr. Warren to make a promotion there on Chinese New Year in the coming month.
Mr. Warren remarked that we are going to arrange a promotion event there as request.
CEO Comment: CEO said when we did promotions and people knew about our showrooms. Then they would walk in, so all of your jobs were to attract and satisfy customers need. In addition, she remarked the look of each showroom was absolutely important to attract more customers thus your place needed to be clean, tidy and neat.

Mr. Warren: Acting Corporate Director
1.   Briefly he started talking about his promotion plans for 2010 as the following:
1.   Play Music (Express Music)
2.   Ovi mail
3.   My First Nokia (MFN)
4.   Convergence( N series)

Here is one of the four described step:
          *Play all music
          *Dance with Nokia
The attendees are selected from Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Battembong.
There are two segments of this game: SOLO (1 Person) and Group dance (4 people)
Final dance would be held in Phnom Penh and the winner will get a phone (N.X6) and cash.
The above four strategies are the promotional activities that he committed to do for 2010 if Nokia accept our proposal.

CEO: Did you think the above promotion plans would help your sale growth? CEO asked.
Ms. Sovary handled the question. She thought the above would help her sales because if he did promotion with express music, we would sell express music phones best.

Mr. Shiang: Field Force Manager
To start with, he started explaining about how to display phones and the four symbols of Essential, Style, Business and Multimedia.
Here are detailed list:
